Introduction:
Before we continue discussing, let’s understand what this book is about. “The Superman in Islam,” also known as “Maghaze Mutafakkir began Shia” in Farsi, is a book written by 25 scholars, including both Muslims and non-Muslims. I’ve already posted a blog explaining its introduction, reviews, and more, so I won’t go over that again.

Questions about the Book’s authentication:
Now, some people say that this book might not be authentic. They point out that many of the authors aren’t Muslim, and they question whether the scholars’ names are real or made up. They advise not to mix false information with the Imam’s teachings and not to consider the book as authentic. Let’s accept all these points for a moment.

What the Book Talks About:
Firstly, it’s important to note that this book isn’t about what the Imam’s hadiths; it’s a research-based book. Let’s see what topics the book covers:
The book talks about the Imam’s childhood, his Biography, his knowledge on medicine (ilm-e tib), also on chemistry, his thoughts about Earth, how he sees the creation of Earth, his views on literature (ilm-e adab), what he thinks about enlightenment of stars, and what advice he gives to mothers. The book also discusses his teachings about the movement of earth, and a really interesting topic – his conversation with Abu Shakir about the existence of God. It also talks about his conversation with Jabir bin Hayyan and many more topics.
Learning from the Book (“The Superman in Islam” )???
Now what problems arise from reading it? Should we refrain from reading it for educational or learning purposes? Should we doubt the presence of the teachings of the imam on science? It’s widely known that during that time, the imam gives his teachings to students from various fields. If some individuals don’t believe in this, then what about Jabir bin Hayyan (Father Of Chemistry)? Wasn’t he a student of Imam Jaffar al-Sadiq as well?
The books of the Imam at that time were burned by the ruler of that era. Someone also said that Imam didn’t get the credit he deserved because he didn’t write any books himself his student and family were taught this knowledge and they spread it. Also the political leader at the time was very threatened by the imam so this could have stopped people from writing about the Imam”. Now how can we presently authenticate the original teachings of the imam? If we don’t promote these types of books and the teachings of the Imam, then the true intentions of those who destroyed the books will be fulfilled. They intended to prevent anyone from accessing the Imam’s teachings. Anyway, let’s now prove the teachings of Imam on science!
Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi about the book:
The ongoing discussion should conclude here, as Allama Zameer Akhtar Naqvi discussed this book during one of his majlis sessions. He was a Pakistani scholar, religious leader, public speaker, Urdu poet, and researcher. He had authored numerous books on religion and poetry. For me, the discussion centered around whether we should read this book or not. However, this conclusion might not be acceptable to all of you. In the video, Allama explain how scholars gather information from every book on Imam Jaffar Sadiq and put all scientific information together in just a single book. Shia Media Channels about the book:
Imam Hussain TV, one of the largest media groups within the Shia community, has also published a video in which they present the teachings of Imam Jaffar al-Sadiq (a.s) regarding science. All of these teachings of the Imam can also be found in the book “The Superman in Islam”, presented in the same format. In the caption, they write:
“Imam Ja’far Sadiq (as) was more than just a religious figure, in fact many of the great and life changing discoveries in the fields of science were taught and discussed by the Imam hundreds of years before more well-known European scientists. This is a tribute to a man who taught so much to humanity, and yet has not received the recognition or analysis he deserves even in the Muslim world. Maulana Ali Raza Rizvi: Everything is in motion (Imam Jafar al-Sadiq)
Allama Ali Raza Rizvi, a great scholar and Aalim-e-Deen, once talked about the teachings of Imam Jaffar al-Sadiq in the majlis. He explained how he reply to Stephen Hawking using the teachings of Imam Jaffar al-Sadiq on “everything is always moving”. This whole idea is also discussed in the book “The Superman in Islam,” in a chapter called “Everything is in Motion.” Now, if someone argues that the book has wrong information, how can a scholar explain the Imam’s teachings in the same way as presented in the book? Lantern of Knowledge:
There is a YouTube channel called “Graph Agency” that has created a series named “Lantern of Knowledge.” In this series, the guests include Maulana Amber Abidi, and the host is Ali Anwaar Jafri. In this series, they discuss various teachings of the Imam, such as the existence of aliens, the Big Bang theory and Imam Jaffar Sadiq, the Imam’s knowledge of astronomy, and much more. All of that information is also written in the book “The Superman in Islam.”

- ALLAMA FAROOQUE RAZVI: The renowned Sunni scholar, ALLAMA FAROOQUE RAZVI, also discusses the teachings of the imam. Conclusion and the last question:
Now it’s up to you! if you still have in your mind where are the original authentic reference then you simply don’t read it! But the question remains: if all the information is incorrect, then why do prominent scholars address those teachings of Imam? There are numerous videos of scholars available on social media where they educate us about the teachings of Imam Jaffar Sadiq. These teachings are all also present in written form within the book. After all, He (a.s) is the grandson of Imam Ali (a.s), the gate of the city of knowledge. And no doubt they have the knowledge of each and every single thing.
