As science students, we’ve always had a beautiful connection with science. We love understanding how things work, especially when we have great teachers to guide us. Back in 2023, I enjoyed sharing science-related posts on my personal account. One day, I came across a post about Imam Jafar Sadiq and his scientific teachings. This sparked my curiosity, and I started researching more about it. During my research, I found a book called *”The Superman in Islam: Imam Jafar as-Sadiq”*. It was an old book, and I didn’t have easy access to it. When I told my mother about it, she surprised me by finding and gifting me a physical copy, even though it was rare to find.
That’s how my journey began! As I read the book, I felt a deep sense of pride realizing that the scientific teachings we learn in schools, colleges, and universities align with the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) and Ahlulbayt (AS). I discovered that the book had been published 15-20 years ago, but no articles or content had been shared about it. This inspired me to start creating, publishing, and spreading these teachings.
In August 2023, I created a Instagram page called @imam.and.science. Before this, I had been posting on another Instagram page, *@tabbara_and_tawalla*, but I decided to make this new page completely different. This marked the beginning of a journey called “Students of Imam Jafar as-Sadiq”. I started group discussions and met some amazing friends who are now the backbone of the page. From that point, the management shifted from “I” to “We.” Everyone shared the same goal, role, and mission, and we’re still on that path today!
As a team, we created different groups for research, editing, and content creation. Each member is dedicated to sharing the real teachings of Ahlulbayt—teachings that have rarely been shared before. Through this journey, we’ve not only shared knowledge but also learned so much together. We’ve read books, held discussions, and grown as a team.
To preserve these teachings for future generations, we created this website. We’re also working on a book, though it’s been delayed due to busy academic schedules. Please keep us in your prayers for its completion.
We pray that our mission continues and that Allah (SWT) and our Imam accept our efforts. This journey has been incredible, and we’re committed to spreading the light of knowledge!
