Hope you’re having a great day! Here’s today’s Quranic verse for you:

“My mercy encompasses all things” [Quran 7:156]

When all hope seems lost, when injustice and evil prevails, remember this beautiful verse on Allah’s Mercy. Allah is the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful, and he Sees things we might not be able to see with our naked eyes and limited use of intellectual faculty. In other words, we might not know the wisdom or hikmah behind all the things that have happened to us, so this verse will reassure us that whatever happens is the Divine Decree of Allah the Most Merciful.

The piercing Star (AL-Tariq)

In the vast expanse of the cosmos, on Nov 28, 1967, scientists have uncovered a celestial phenomenon that transcends the boundaries of our understanding—the pulsar. This cosmic marvel takes the form of a highly magnetized neutron star, pulsating with rhythmic electromagnetic radiation, akin to the gentle yet persistent knocking on a celestial door. Aptly named a “pulsar” by the scientific community, this enigmatic celestial body unveils a captivating dance of intense magnetic fields and rapid rotations, composing a symphony of electromagnetic pulses that reverberate through the cosmic orchestra.0

As astronomers peer into the depths of the universe, the pulsar emerges as a celestial virtuoso, its rhythmic cadence reminiscent of a cosmic heartbeat. The regular beating sounds emitted by this pulsating star have not only captivated scientists but have also prompted a profound exploration into the mysteries that lie within its cosmic confines. The interplay of magnetic intensity and rapid rotations within the pulsar’s core contributes to an awe-inspiring display of energy and radiation, further enhancing its allure in the eyes of those who seek to unravel the secrets of the universe.

In the quest to understand this cosmic phenomenon, scientists have enlisted the aid of advanced telescopes, extending our vision far beyond the limits of our natural senses. The telescope becomes a key instrument, an extension of our gaze that pierces through the cosmic darkness to reveal the intricate details of distant celestial bodies. This technological marvel adds an extra layer of fascination to the discovery, allowing us to witness the cosmic dance of the pulsar in unprecedented detail and clarity.

However, what adds an even more profound layer to this narrative is the recognition that this celestial event was foretold over 1,400 years ago in the Quran. In the sacred verses of Surah Tariq 86, Allah speaks of the cosmic wonders with eloquence and insight:

1.”By the sky and Al-Tariq.
2. But what will let you know what Al Tariq is?
3. The Piercing Star.”

In these verses, Allah refers to the celestial body as Tariq, meaning a “beater,” “striker,” or a “Nightly Visitor.” The description aligns astonishingly well with the pulsar discovered by modern scientists, emitting its piercing light and pulsating with a regular rhythm. The resonance between the ancient scripture and contemporary scientific observation adds a layer of awe to our understanding of the universe.

The alignment of ancient wisdom with contemporary scientific discovery serves as a poignant reminder of the intricate relationship between faith and scientific exploration. The verses from the Quran, delivered in a time devoid of advanced technology and scientific knowledge, reveal a divine foresight that surpasses the limitations of human understanding. It’s a testament to the profundity of the knowledge bestowed upon humanity, providing glimpses into the cosmic truths that transcend time and space.

The scientific theories encapsulated in the Quran, articulated at a time when technological instruments were nonexistent, stand as a testament to the truth embedded in the divine revelations. The verses resonate with the cosmic realities unveiled by modern scientific advancements, offering believers a profound appreciation for the Creator’s wisdom and foresight. It underscores the idea that the wonders of the universe were known to the Almighty, who guided humanity through the sacred verses.

As we contemplate the rhythmic melodies of the pulsar and the revelations in Surah Tariq 86, we are beckoned to marvel at the profound wonders within the universe. The Quran, a repository of knowledge for believers, invites us to delve deeper into the mysteries it holds. This journey of discovery is not just a scientific pursuit but a spiritual one, fostering a sense of reverence and curiosity.

The cosmic melodies of the pulsar echo through the corridors of time, reminding us of the boundless mysteries waiting to be unraveled. In the pursuit of knowledge, believers find not only scientific enlightenment but also a deeper connection with the divine. The Quran serves as a guiding light, encouraging us to explore the secrets of the universe with a sense of awe and humility.

In contemplating the convergence of ancient scripture and modern revelation, we find ourselves on a profound journey—one that transcends the boundaries of faith and science. It is an invitation to witness the harmony between the knowledge bestowed by the Almighty and the discoveries of inquisitive minds. As we unlock the secrets of the cosmos, we are reminded that the pursuit of knowledge is a sacred endeavor, one that aligns with the divine wisdom encapsulated in the Quran.
