By downloading, accessing, or using Mimber, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Educational purpose
Mimber is a non-commercial Islamic reading and study project created by Imam & Science Students. It helps users read books, save bookmarks, make notes, and access recitations. The app is provided for general educational and spiritual learning purposes.
Mimber does not replace qualified religious scholarship, professional advice, or guidance from a trusted teacher.
3. Content ownership
Books, translations, recitations, audio, cover images, quotations, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective authors, translators, reciters, publishers, licensors, and contributors. Inclusion in Mimber does not transfer ownership to Mimber or Imam & Science Students.
You may use the app for personal, lawful, non-commercial reading and study. You may not remove ownership notices, misrepresent authorship, sell content from the app, or redistribute protected content without permission from the relevant rights holder.
4. Your notes and device data
Your personal notes, highlights, bookmarks, and reading progress remain yours. They are designed to stay on your device in the current version. You are responsible for keeping your own backups where the app provides an export or backup option.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Mimber, attempt to bypass security, interfere with content delivery, reverse engineer the app except where law expressly permits it, use automated tools to copy large portions of protected content, or use Mimber for unlawful or harmful activity.
6. Availability and updates
Mimber is under active development. Features, books, recitations, layouts, and availability may change. Some content may be corrected, replaced, temporarily unavailable, or removed when required for quality, licensing, safety, or technical reasons.
7. Accuracy and religious material
We aim to present material respectfully and accurately, but errors in text, translation, metadata, formatting, audio, or attribution may occur. Please report concerns through the support page so they can be reviewed.
8. Third-party links and services
Mimber may link to websites, app stores, publishers, or other services. Those services have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
9. Disclaimer
Mimber is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that every feature or item of content will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or available on every device.
10. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Imam & Science Students and contributors are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss resulting from use of, or inability to use, Mimber. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
