1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Mimber, an educational project by Imam & Science Students, handles information when you use the Mimber mobile application and its related website pages.
Mimber is designed as a calm reading and study app. The current version does not require a user account, does not show advertisements, and does not sell personal information.
2. Information stored on your device
Reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, personal notes, downloaded books, reading preferences, and similar app settings are designed to be stored locally in the app's private storage on your device.
This local information is not sent to us unless a future feature clearly tells you otherwise and asks for the appropriate permission or choice.
3. Online content and technical records
Mimber may connect to the internet to download or stream books, recitations, audio, images, app configuration, or updates. When an online service is used, the hosting provider may automatically process basic technical records such as an IP address, request time, requested file, device or browser type, and security logs. These records are used to deliver content, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse.
4. Information you choose to send
If you contact the team through the Imam & Science support page, you may voluntarily provide your name, email address, message, screenshots, or device details. That information is used only to respond to your request, investigate a problem, or process a content or privacy report.
Please do not send passwords, payment details, private documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
5. Advertising, analytics and sale of data
- Mimber does not display third-party advertisements.
- Mimber does not use personal information for behavioral advertising.
- Mimber does not sell or rent personal information.
- The version covered by this policy is intended not to use behavioral tracking.
If analytics, crash reporting, account sync, or another data-connected feature is added in the future, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before that version is released.
6. Third-party services
Google Play, the Apple App Store, device operating systems, content hosting providers, and links opened outside Mimber may process information under their own privacy policies. Mimber does not control those independent services.
7. Children and young readers
Mimber is educational and may be used by students and families. It is not designed to request personal profiles from children, and the current version does not require account creation. Parents and guardians should supervise device use and review any external links before allowing a child to open them.
8. Data retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you remove it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Because the current version does not create Mimber accounts or cloud profiles, there is no Mimber account stored on our servers to delete.

9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect the website and online content delivery. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Mimber's features, permissions, hosting, or legal requirements change. The latest version will remain available on this page with a revised update date.
