In this Quranic study, Sultan Bashir Mahmood utilizes the mind of a scientist and the heart of a Muslim. This scientific interpretation represents one of many efforts within the continuum of thought surrounding the Holy Qur’an. Its aim is to comprehend contemporary problems through the lens of Allah’s Book and convey its message to our fellow brothers and sisters. My intended audience comprises ordinary Muslims seeking the right path to resolve life’s various challenges while striving to avoid the displeasure of Allah Ta’ala. Thus, my objective isn’t merely to provide scientific explanations about Allah’s word but rather to discern Allah’s expectations of us and what the Qur’an offers to 21st-century humanity. Our ultimate goal is for humanity to find tranquility in this world and success in the hereafter.

The influence of the Western world on Muslim youth:

Furthermore, I address Muslim youth who, due to their reverence for the Western world’s advancements in science and technology, sometimes grant undue significance to the perspectives of Western authorities, particularly when cloaked in the mantle of science. However, it’s essential to remember that no scientist surpasses the Creator, and His word is unalterable, transcending all other sciences, even amid the diversities within worldly scientific theories.

Highlighting the significance of this service to humanity:

After years of study, I have arrived at the conclusion that the culmination of physics leads to metaphysics, a subject of particular significance in the Holy Qur’an. Consequently, there exists an urgent need in the present age to comprehend Allah’s words in the context of physics and metaphysics. I firmly believe that, God willing, the world will witness that the culmination of science marks the inception of the Holy Quran. As Muslim youth begin to unravel this miracle of the Holy Quran, they will, with divine guidance, help dispel the darkness that shrouds the world. Their efforts will aid in rescuing people, whether from the East or the West, from the fires of hell. Undoubtedly, there is no greater service to humanity than this noble endeavor.

About the book: “Kitab-e-Zindagi”

This book is an explanation of two chapters in the Quran, called Surah Al-Baqara and Surah Al-Fatiha. Inside, you’ll find an index with over 400 topics, and the book has a total of 485 pages.
