بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Duas for Students

Dua before class:

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَخْرِجْنِيْ مِنْ ظُلُمَاتِ الْوَهْمِ وَ اَكْرِمْنِيْ بِنُوْرِ الْفَهْمِ

O GOD, please bring me out of the darkness of doubt and favour me with the light of comprehension,

اَللّٰهُمَّ افْتَحْ عَلَيْنَا اَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَ انْشُرْ عَلَيْنَا خَزَآئِنَ عُلُوْمِكَ

O GOD open to us the doors of your mercy and unfold for us the treasure of your knowledge by your mercy

بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

O the most merciful of the merciful ones.

Dua Before Studying 1

للَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْـتَنِي وَ عَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي

Oh Allah! Make useful for me what you have taught me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me.

.اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فَهْمَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ حِفْظَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ

Oh Allah! I ask you for the understanding of the prophets and the memory of the messengers, and those nearest to you.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِسَانِي عَامِرًا بِذِكْرِكَ وَ قَلْبِي بِخَشْيَتِك

Oh Allah! Make my tongue full of your remembrance and my heart with awe of you.

َ.إِنَّكَ عَلَى مَا تَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ وَ أَنْتَ حَسْـبُنَا اللَّهُ وَ نِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ

Oh Allah! You do whatever you wish, and you are my availer and protector and best of aid.

Dua before study 2

َللَّهُمَّ اَكْرِمْنْيْ بِنُوْرِ الْفَهْمِ وَ خَرَّجَنِيْ مِنْ ظُلُمَاتِ الْوَهْمِ

O Allah, honor me by the light of understanding and take me out from the darknesses of doubt

وَ افْتَحْ عَلَيْنَا اَبْوَابَ عِلْمَكَ،

and open upon us the doors of Your knowledge

وَ انْشُرْ عَلَيْنَا خُزَّانَ مَعْرِفَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

and open upon us the treasure of Your recognition, O the best of the Merciful ones.

اَللَّهُمَّ وَفِّقْنِيْ فِىْ الْمُطَالَعَةِ بِحَلِّ جَمِيْعِ مُشْكِلاَتِ الْمَسَآئِلِ مِنَ الْكُتُبِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ.

.O Allah, and give me Tawfeeq to the study and solving all the difficult problems through books. By Your mercy, O the best of the merciful ones

Du`a for removing Anxiety

للَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَ الْحَزَنِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ العَجْزِ وَ الْكَسَلِ

Oh Allah, I seek refuge in You from worry and grief,from helplessness and laziness,

وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَ الْبُخْلِ وَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَةِ الدَّيْنِ و قَهْرِ الرجال

from cowardice and stinginess,and from overpowering of debt and from oppression of men

Dua After Studying

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَوْدِعُكَ مَا قَرأتُ وَمَا حَفَظْتُ

Oh Allah! I entrust you with what I have read and I have studied.

فَرُضُهُ عَليّ عِنْدَ حَاجَتِي إِلَيهِ،

Oh Allah! Bring it back to me when I am in need of it.

إِنّكَ عَلى مَا تَشَاءُ قَدِيرُ وَأَنْتَ حَسْبِي وَنِعْمَ الوَكِيل

Oh Allah! You do whatever you wish, you are my availer and protector and the best of aid

Dua While Studying Something Difficult

اللَّهُمَّ لاَ سَهْلاً إِلّاَ مَا جَعَلّتَهٌ سَهْلاً وَأَنّتَ تَجّعَلَ الحَزَنَ إِذَا شِئتَ سَهْلاً

Oh Allah! Nothing is easy except what You have made easy. If You wish, You can make the difficult easy.

Dua For Concentration

صَلّىَ اللهُ عَلى مُحَمّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمّد. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْألُكَ يَا مُذَكِرَ الخَيْرِ وَفَاعِلَهُ وَالآمِرَ بِهِ ذَكِرّنِي مَا اَنّسَانِهِ الشّيطَان

Oh Allah! Nothing is easy except what Blessings of God be upon Muhammad and his progeny. O God, I ask you, the one who mentions goodness and actualizes it and commands it, remind me of that which the shaytan makes me forget.

Dua for increase in knowledge Pdf

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم

Oh the chief of all chiefs! Oh the In the name of Allah the Beneficent, the Merciful,

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْألُكَ عِلْماً نَافِعاَ وَعَمَلاً صَالِحاً

O Allah I ask You for beneficial knowledge and good deeds

وَحِفْظاً قَوِيّاً وَفَهْماً كَامِلاً

and a strong memory and a perfect understanding

وَعَقْلاً سَالِماً بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ ٱلرَّاحِمِينَ

and a sound intellect by Your mercy, O the most Merciful of the merciful ones

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَّآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family

Duas at Exams

اللَّهُمَّ أَخْرِجْنِي مِنْ ظُلُمَاتِ الْوَهْمِ

Oh the chief of all chiefs! Oh the In the O Allah, take me out of the darkness of delusion.

وَأَكْرِمْنِي بِنُورِ الْفَهْمِ

And honor me with the light of understanding.

وَافْتَحْ عَلَيَّ بِمَعْرِفَةِ الْعِلْمِ

And open upon me the knowledge of wisdom.

سُبْحانَ مَنْ لا يَعْتَدِي عَلى أَهْلِ مَمْلَكَتِهِ

Glory be to the One who does not oppress the inhabitants of His kingdom.

سُبْحانَ مَنْ لا يَأْخُذُ أَهْلَ الأَرْضِ بِأَلْوَانِ العَذَابِ

Glory be to the One who does not punish the people of the earth with various kinds of torment.

سُبْحانَ الرَّؤُوفِ الرَّحِيمِ

Glory be to the Most Kind, the Most Merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِي فِي قَلْبِي نُوراً وَبَصَراً وَفَهْماً وَعِلْماً

O Allah, place in my heart light, insight, understanding, and knowledge.

إِنَّكَ عَلى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Indeed, You have power over all things.

Dua before reading (a book or like)

اللَّهُمَّ أَخْرِجْنِي مِنْ ظُلُمَاتِ الْوَهْمِ

O Allah, take me out of the darkness of delusion..

And spread upon us the treasures of Your knowledge.

بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

By Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
